Community Trust
The Trust was set up with the aims of providing community recreational facilities for the people of Little Melton when the new Village Hall was built in 1990. To do this the Trust rents the Village Hall from the Parish Council and The Village Hall Management Committee runs the Hall and is responsible for the upkeep of the interior of the Hall. The income generated is sufficient to run the hall and maintain the interior with surplus funds used for interior projects or to meet requests from elsewhere.
The Trust has over the years funded the play ground, contributed to the provision of the car park, the church extension and helped in other ways, recently financing the short mat bowls equipment so a club could be set up. The Village Show has been a regular community event organised and run by the Management Committee and raises a small amount towards our funds.
