Crime Summary
Hare coursing
Incidents of Hare
coursing reported in Blackborough
End,Fersfield, Great Massingham, Nordelph,
Ten Mile Bank ,Weasenham and West
Acre.
Reported thefts
Heating oil taken from Lenwade.
American Ford SUV (Index AE60HSJ0 stolen from Thetford.
2 Works vehicle broken into in
Downham Market with power and hand tools stolen.
Indespension 6x4 trailer taken from
Merton.
2 metal baths and electrical cable stolen from Watton.

Please.. Ensure you lock your
vehicles and remove keys and valuables.
On these Cold mornings, Don’t leave
your cars running and un-attended whilst defrosting.
Register your valuables.
This includes power tools and anything with a serial number. This makes
them identifiable if they get stolen. It’s free
!! and links into the National Police system.
Good news stories
4 Males arrested
for Hare coursing, 4 dogs and a vehicle seized following an incident in
Nordelph.
The above was a result of Operation Galileo that took place in the West of
the county last Saturday. Following the report of Hare Coursing the Police used
all units at their disposal to track and find the suspects.
Involved parties included the Randall specials team, local officers, Rural
beat managers, Traffic officers, dog unit and 3 Drone units and not forgetting
to mention help from Lincolnshire Constabulary.
Commercial generator stolen from
Snettisham and recovered by Police a short while later. 1 male arrested.

Heating Oil Thefts
Norfolk
Police are urging residents to be vigilant as incidents of heating oil thefts
often increase during the winter months.
