Elections
All seven positions on the Parish Council are up for election on the 2nd of May. Most Parish Councils have 12 or more members, so it is really important that we have seven people who are prepared to take ownership of issues and see them through, if we are going to maintain an effective PC! There are other people who are not PC members but take on specific jobs and the PC always welcomes that kind of support. The Village Hall is managed by a Trust that reports to the PC and we need more people to help with the Trust. You don't need prior experience but you do need good communication skills and be able to write emails and look up websites. There are some examples below of the sort of tasks that need doing.
Nomination papers are available from SNC and have to be returned between 20th March and 16:00 on 3rd April. Blank forms will be available at the Parish Meeting.
