NORFOLK COUNTY COUNCIL proposes to make a Temporary Traffic Order affecting the 1) C770 Back Lane from its junction with C770 Burnthouse Lane for a distance of 327 metres eastwards; and 2) C182 Colney Lane from its junction with C770 Back Lane for a distance of 603 metres north eastwards in the PARISH OF HETHERSETT because of a new site entrance.

The road 1) will be temporarily closed (except for access) and the road 2) will be temporarily closed (expect for access) only when traffic signs indicating the closure are in place from 26th May 2018 to 3rd June 2018 for the duration of the works, expected to be 9 days within the period.

Alternative routes are via:

C182 Colney Lane, B1172 Norwich Road, U71417 Churchfields, U78048 Back Lane, U78050 Little Melton Road, C770 Burnthouse Lane.

C182 Colney Lane, B1172 Norwich Road, A11 Newmarket Road, C645 Round House Way, C183 Colney Lane, B1108 Watton Road, C182 Hethersett Lane, C182 Colney Lane and vice versa (Little Melton, Hethersett).

(If necessary the restriction could run for a maximum period of 18 months from the date of the Order).

Penalty: £1000 maximum fine on conviction and/or endorsement for contravention.

In the event of the start date being delayed the new start date will be displayed on site in advance.
